Research Interests

My research interests are disease resistance breeding and bioinformatics. My research focuses on genetic enhancement of FHB resistance in barley. My other research works entail looking into practical indirect selection proxy traits for winter barley genotype screening for winter survival, and evaluating fall planted vs spring planted barley for disease management. 

Fun Fact

I enjoy cooking and crocheting as a stress reliever!
