Research Interests: My research is about fine mapping coincident quantitative trait loci on chromosome 6H of spring 6-row barley. That is, to map the exact locations of genes influencing traits including Fusarium head blight, grain protein, senescence date, etc., so as to ‘break’ unfavorable associations of traits to obtain a more desirable cultivar. As a career goal, I would like to utilize plants and my knowledge in plant breeding to improve people’s living qualities in underdeveloped areas such as my hometown.

Fun Fact: It can take me 1.5 hour to cook a meal and 5 minutes to finish it.
