Research responsibilities
I assist the breeder in designing and implementing field research and yield trials at multiple locations and with collaborative projects. Responsible for communication, organization, and implementation of off-station and collaborative research trials. Implementation and logistics of planting, plot maintenance, data collection, and harvesting of all research and disease plots on- and off-station. Responsible for field design, computer-generated plans, data sheets, and logistics of spring and winter barley field trials, and winter nurseries.
